As we move closer and closer to the end-times, we discover an ever-increasing activity of those heavenly servants called angels. It is therefore crucial that we understand how to work with these mighty servants of the LORD. As iniquity increases and the operation of the deceptive demonic army are unleashed, the ministry of angels will be crucial to our victories.

Rev 22:8-9

8 Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

9 Then he said to me,” See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

Perhaps better than any other verse, the above verse other places the correct balance of the ministry of the Angelic host. They are fellow servants of the LORD. They work alongside of us to bring about the Lord’s purposes here on earth and in the heavenlies. They also function between heaven and earth that seem to be occupied by the demonic forces.

Dan 10:13-14

13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.

Angels in both the Old Testament as well as the New were sent to teach, strengthen, deliver, protect and lead God’s children. We in the Church today in an effort to stay away from angel worship have sadly neglected one of the Lord’s primary ways of helping us. As the wicked end-time, approaches we can no longer afford to do this.

I once was preparing a message entitled, “Desire, Discipline and Delight.” I went to sleep praying and asking the Lord why so many of God’s children fail to enter into the “delight” of the Lord. What He showed me in a dream will amaze you. I will relate the dream to you in full detail a little later but the basic revelation was that we were neglecting the ministry of powerful angels. The dream revealed that not only do we not recognize their ministry we often rudely and violently do so. As a result, we rarely experience the victories and blessings the Lord has meant for us.

How many believers have a great desire and they follow it with discipline but never walk in the delight of the things of God. If we fail to move into the next step of the Lord’s purposes, that is delight, we will end up in despair and discouragement. Is that not where many of God’s servants find themselves? One of the reasons this is true is because we have not understood one of the primary ways the Lord desires to minister to us, namely, through angels. It is my goal to help us understand the biblical way we can co-operate with the Holy Spirit as He teaches us about the end-time ministry of angels. zodiac signs elements

There is a verse in the book of Hebrews that we have taken out of context and misinterpreted. This verse illustrates this truth in a dramatic way. The verse is, “How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation.” This verse is almost always used in the sense of soul winning or the born again experience. Yet we find that when placed in its proper context it is a verse about the ministry of angels. In other words, how shall we escape if we neglect their ministry to us?

I will remove the chapter and verse divisions that often fail to communicate what the scriptures are seeking to teach us. Remember, man added these divisions many centuries after the Bible was written. Although these divisions are often helpful to us in finding our places in the word, there are at times divisions made by man that break a thought pattern the Lord is developing. The following passage is one of those.

The theme is the ministry of angels and he ends up saying, “How shall we neglect so great salvation,… ” Again, the premise he is speaking of here is not the new birth, but rather the help and deliverance that angels have been commissioned to give us as we fulfill the purposes of the Lord.
